Midori K. Hirai
Attorney | Notary Public
Midori K. Hirai’s passion has always been words, concepts, and ideas. This passion led her to obtain a Certificate in Intellectual Property at the University of San Francisco School of Law, in addition to her Juris Doctorate. For her Certificate, Ms. Hirai focused specifically on emerging issues in the copyright and trademark protection, including the recent developments in fair use.
Prior to law school, Ms. Hirai worked at the Hawai‘i State Legislature for then-House Finance Committee chairman Representative Marcus R. Oshiro. Working at the legislature gave Ms. Hirai a unique understanding of the development of laws and the ways that laws impact particular types of businesses, organizations, and individuals.
